About
Ms. Shamson is a researcher, teacher, and social activist. She has more than five years of
experience as a teacher. Her student extends from socially privileged to unprivileged
children- of all types. Moreover, since November 2022, she works as a point coordinator of
the Mojar School - under the sky project - run by Odommo Foundation.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the most vulnerable group: the senior citizens’ rights
were at stake, she joined Subarta Trust as a researcher to uphold their rights. Later on, she
worked with the Alzheimer Society of Bangladesh (ASB) as an activist regarding dementia.
She is an executive member of the Bangladesh Study Forum (BDSF) which is a knowledge-
sharing platform. In addition, she is a member of Boyoshee Kollyan Somity.
She was awarded Magna cum Laude in her undergraduate program for her excellent
academic result.
